One minute – Tandem Axle Lift

By disengaging and raising the drive axel when the truck is unloaded, Volvo Trucks’ Tandem Axle Lift allows for a better turning radius and can save up to four per cent in fuel consumption when driving unloaded. As soon as the truck is loaded, the drive axle automatically lowers itself and engages to ensure maximum traction and driveability.
